The podcast was born from two pivotal aspirations. Firstly, we aim to shed light on the historical realities of Israel, as illustrated in the Bible — realities far removed from our modern world. We believe that gaining insight into these ancient lifestyles can help us understand the circumstances that shaped our biblical heroes' actions, and further offer clarity about the challenging dilemmas faced by the writers of these sacred texts.
Secondly, we aspire to provide reliable, high-quality content that can be trusted and referred to both now and in the future. We take pride in our commitment to accuracy and accessibility, striving always to deliver this in an engaging and enjoyable manner, with a sprinkle of humor for good measure.
To fulfill these ambitions requires not just extensive study, but also meticulous attention to detail (God, as they say, is found in the details) and roughly a hundred hours of my time for each episode's preparation.
